I tend to use osmose to detect 'large building intersection clusters' at a
very large scale - IE during the Nepal activation.
Others that show up building-in-building or 'special building due to size
marked building=yes' are also useful QA checks, often catching whole
residential areas marked as a
One possible thing that is a little different to some past activations is
the availability of gps data via improve-osm.org - it might be worth
checking that against flood affected areas to see if it highlights missing
roads well.
Additionally, strava's GPS 'slide' tool built into ID may allow

In the last hour its gone from 1-2 contributors to 17 - while it is top of
the task manager, there's mapping like this:

I raised https://github.com/hotosm/osm-tasking-manager2/issues/718 focused
only on the front page list/different purposes it serves. Ideas or examples
of other 'task priority' UI encouraged.

We don't do that for normal mapping or HOT activations, a changeset comment
is probably going to be reasonably sufficient.

Network errors or the underlying API can cause this to occur.
It's not *too* frequent, and you pick it up easily with QA tools.
More interesting is the mappers at the borders of tiles - they don't
realise someone else is mapping near by and doubled buildings occur.
Examples:
I don't really understand what TomNod does
It's a giant slippy map loading newer imagery and asking for simple
tagging. As you scroll it marks tiles as reviewed.
High overlap with the purpose of the tasking manager in building tracing
then updating those with appropriate damage tags; ditto road

Hi I've been thinking about this some. Tim, I think an in person HOT

Daniel, I think the MapGive videos are also a great start

Hi all,
So a few days ago there was a thread about Skybox for good, and explicit
permission to use the imagery for tracing, provided attribution was done.

Assume so. Just asked them, and they're researching if they'll advertise it.
I've added in 2x pull requests to expand certain sections and break them up

I'll do a few more when I have time.
