As for most hplip commands, such as hp-check, hp-levels, hp-makeuri etc,
parameters -linfo, -lnone, -lerror, -lwarn -ldebug are provided. When using
hp-check -lerror, it displays only the error: not found in terminal, and it
displays nothing in terminal
For those, who don't want to wait for the next release, i put the patched
ppd-file on my homepage http://thmwarp.de/patchppd.html
I can't give any warranty for using this file and sorry, the site is in
german only.

The only real use of -l is for debugging purposes. For all other normal
use by a user, you would never specify any -l parameter at all. And, the
only -l parameter that is truly useful is -ldebug (also can be specified
as -g). Please note that the -l parameter is working as designed -
-lerror
