I am pleased to welcome Blaine Simpson, Ulrich Vollert and Nicholas Ferguson
as developers. Blaine has contributed SSL support to the project and is
working on a Solaris package for version 1.7.1. Ulrich has contributed
enhancements to Database Manager and will continue this work. As a Zaurus

The development of the two forthcoming versions is well underway. As I
mentioned earlier, version 1.7.1 will be a bug-fix release to go out very
