Since Sun's 1.3.1 and 1.4.1 have reached "End of
Life". And 1.4.2 is the first supported older release.
Why does HSQLDB have to support these JDK's?
Well I guess since the answer is obvious, for
developers, my next question is: What is the policy for when HSQLDB stops
suppo
"End of Life" JDK's have regularly been revived as new
platforms for small devices. Also, on some platforms, there are still issues
with "current" versions, so the "End of Life" versions have to be used. As
a result, we have established the following policy over the last couple of
years.
