Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
I have managed to get the FPW to respond.
I loaded only one image, then opened FPW and it wasn't frozen, so was able to
deselect overview mode.

OK, your experience essentially confirms mine, that the FPW is immediately
frozen on a multicore.
My previous build (5540:7970f386b044) was OK. The FPW bug would appear now and
then, but it was usually OK if I had the FPW set to 'hidden'. That suggests
that what has broken this version, or at
