There was a lengthy period under OS X10.5 that it just was not
working, weird results, and a period before that that Hugin was

The first person mentions that he doesn't see the difference between 95-80%,
but likes to keep details.
The 2 persons who mention that they really use jpeg from Hugin set it to
95%.

I agree. I usually save to TIFF and only compress to JPEG if I must.
