Let me bring those 3 over, make an rc3 just for sanity's sake (the
"final" is made at the same time, so having an rc3 just gives a little
time for sanity testing before release to prevent "oops!!" kinds of
errors).

I see a bunch of new features being added to the hwloc trunk.
Is the intent to stabilize the trunk and release, or is the intent to
add a bunch of PCI features before releasing? I kinda thought we were
trying to stabilize and release ASAP...?
