Hi!, What you said below might be the answer to my problem. The output problem that I had for Lao- getting a square box. Without lo_LA.UTF-8 statement in the locale.dir, I was able to type Lao in Kword using CODE2000 UNICODE font package but would not work for the rest of the UNICODE fonts,
