The formal procedure requires a SLOB to propose "A motion" and then another
SLOB to second it. In this way all other SLOBs will understand they are
called to vote.

I think if we really want to get people outside OLPC machines, then we
should adapt to them. Like take advantage of hardware specs, specially when
people using the windows(HP, DELL etc), chromebooks and even the Macbooks
without going against our culture and pedagogy. We can continue with the
spec
I was going around youtube and i saw this video [1] (Sugar Labs Vision 2016
proposal Hangout). I think towards the technical aspect of Sugar Labs, this
video explains everything walter was trying to point out.
