I tried "B" but did not work. I tried RESTART but it asked for a parm.

Hi,
I am running a program on a test system with DIAG IGVINITFREEMAIN set.
The program is getting a S0C4 in module IEFWS21D with this DIAG set.
IEFWS21D appears to be associated with dynamic allocation.

Hi,
Does OMVS have a Telnet client? I was able to use SSH but not all servers have
SSH.
I tried entering Telnet and MAN Telnet and got nothing.
Thanks,

>Is this about the same thing as multiple network adapters (cards)?
No. A TCP/IP stack will often use multiple network adapters to the same
network for load sharing and fault tolerence.
If one adapter fails the other will continue to operate.
If you have multiple stacks, one for each network
One good reason to have seperate stacks is if you have two or more completely
seperate networks.
If you try and combine two seperate networks in one stack, you will run into
routing issues.
It is much easier to manage if you have a seperate stack for each seperate
network.

Hi,
Has anyone heard of a utility that can re-create object modules from a load

Is this even possible?
Thanks,

Hi,
I was looking at dump recently and discovered the CPU was disabled following a
SETLOCK OBTAIN,TYPE=IOSUCB
SETLOCK RELEASE,TYPE=IOSUCB
I would have thought the SETLOCK RELEASE would have put the CPU back
in the interrupts enabled state.
Does anyone have any additional information on this?

Jim,
Yes you are correct they are there.
Dave,
Sorry, I checked the wrong place, they are in the linkage stack.

Hi,
I am looking at an SVCDUMP. There is a formatted SSRB of a suspended
SRB.
I am trying to locate the registers of the SRB execution at the time of the
Suspend.
The SSRB has register fields but they are all 0s except R15 which points
to the address following the SUSPEND call.
The registers m
