Central Storgae reduction

Hi Listers, Last weekend, we POR'd a processor to reconfigure some memory from the sysprog's LPAR to another LPAR. Sysprog's LPAR was 2048 and reduced to 1088. Actual HSA is 1088. Now we could not IPL the sysprog's LPAR. We are seeing 'START PENDING' for all the devices. Anyone has any idea?

Thank you to Jay, Ken and John who have responded. John, I was enquiring regarding the logical virtual scratch volumes that I was hoping to reduce so that I could free some stacked volumes. Is what you have indicated below is what I was enquiring? If it is, I will get on with it straight away!
