getting gmake on z/OS Unix

Hi, we are a group using z/OS Unix and have been given an HFS (USS?) we can install gmake ourselves as per our z/OS sysprog have downloaded and unwound gmake.pax.Z.bin from IBM and it looks to be EBCDIC already. The unwind created folders bin, share, info, and man and put all the data there

Hi folks, I have a process that builds scripts on Linux to be run on z/OS Unix. The FTP'd scripts, however, don't run. If I use a line editor (ed) to recreate the script on z/OS, it runs fine. Also, 'ED' sees these FTP'd scripts as having only a single line number...1, followed by one big lin
