Timothy, What's the point? ICC was available many moons before OSA-Ex3 was announced. The only advantage of planned change is that another - currently dead port will be available. Unfortunately this is not very interesting. Single OSA-ICC port supoports up to 120 console (terminal)

Try using ATTACH. Have your main program allocate the SYSTSPRT file first, then attach a routine that performs both calls before returning. IIRC when the attached TCB is detached, the open files associated with it will be closed. Then the main routine can free the file and repeat the process ad
