Hi.
Your first question was:
Has anyone successfully installed IBM HTTP Server Powered by Apache?
My answer: yes, me, but it hurts. As far as I understand it, you have to create
a copy of the delivered environment, which has to be done using the script
mentioned below.
My way:
1) start OMVS
2)
Ok. I just wondered if HOD did something unusual, like communicated to a
http server at the mainframe that in turn communicated with tso the usual
way (--VTAM--TSO etc.).

In addition to all of the other suggestions. Check which terminal type you are
emulating. Some of the emulators allow you to specify older terminal types
that do NOT have numerics. Also check what the terminal type is on screen 0 of

Not real sure what you're asking so I'll go with;
The emulator offers the base models of: Model 2 (24X80) Model 3 (32x80),
Model 4 (43X 80) and Model 5 (27x132).
As far as my site? We are on z/OS 01.13.00 (ISPF 6.3), VTAM 6.1.D so whatever

From a VTAM logon screen, this works for any screen size you can implement in
your emulator, though I believe there is a limitation of maximum bytes per

logon applid=TSO,logmode=D4C32XX3
That logmode is supplied by IBM by default unless your VTAM
