You can download it from here: http://www.softcircuits.com/cygnus/fe/
Dale, Many Many thanks for this freebie! Now, I'm not 'hexed' anymore. ;-)
I really appreciate your help.
Rick,
It doesn't surprise me at all that if you have AOP-TRAYID set to 1 5 1 1 1
1 1 1 1 1 that you can only ever reach two trays on your printer. After
all, you only have two trays defined (PCL tray 1 and PCL tray 5).
Take a look at my earlier note and see if it starts to give you some clues
Tim, You've got me scratching my head a bit when you say open the file in a
binary editor. Any suggestions on what might that be?
Thanks.

Windoze XP has a DOS program, EDIT. You can edit a file in Binary Format. I
used it to cheat on games. No RACF to block my cheating! ;-)

I found the following PCL sequences for reference, and these appear to be

I'm confused by your references to the manual paper feed and tray 2. You said
there are three paper sources, so if tray 3 and tray 4 are two of them, the
third one is either the manual feed or tray 2 - or are they one and the same?

Rick,
You may need to broaden your testing. The books for afp2pcl and afpxpcl
both contain this Tip for the AOP_TRAYID:
PCL tray IDs do not match the tray numbers embossed on the actual printer
trays.
Test changing more than just the fourth position.
