We have a processor for SDM system. There are two base sysplexes in this box.
There are two FICON
Easy to do, however, there is maint required for z/OS 1.11(?) up to 1.13(?) to
support FICON CTC. Check the PSP buckets.
To migrate(after cabling):
Stop one set of pathin/pathout (ESCON). Start the corresponding set of
pathin/pathout (FICON).
Repeat for the second set of escon/ficon pairings.

We are migrating CTC ESCON channels to CTC FICON channels.
We want to use HCD Option 2.10 to build I/O configurations ,then we
change some parameters to migrate CTC from ESCON
.
In this situation,if one FC fail,CTC will fail.
Now could we define each FC as sender an receiver at same time for high
availability?
