Hi, I think I recall problems with static linkage when LE DLLs are mixed with non LE assembler modules (which I assume you are using non LE and no DLL). If your assembler is LE conforming and uses CEEENTRY, it needs to have MAIN=NO. Have you tried calling the Assembler dynamically from C using

I created a couple of SSL setup examples (RACF and USS) that worked for me a few years back. With these instructions I was able to setup SSL encryption using self-signed certificates (i.e. no paid-for certificates that your site may require), but without any host or client authentication.

The best practice for JES2 Spool file is standalone. Never put anything on the same volume as either the SPOOL Space or the CKPT datasets. That can lead to unintentional issues. Many shops in the past have tended towards multi-use volumes with JES2. This is not recommended. With storage
