To clarify, do you mean IBM InfoSphere Classic Change Data Capture for z/OS
(IBM Program No. 5655-IM5)? Or the CDC (Change Data Capture) features in
IBM InfoSphere Data Replication for Db2 for z/OS (IBM Program No.
5655-DRQ)?

Some years ago IBM had a product called IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture
for z/OS, available as IBM Program No. 5655-U96. That product is no longer
marketed and supported, but its functionality (in much improved form) is
now part of IBM InfoSphere Data Replication for Db2 for z/OS.

If you mean InfoSphere Classic CDC, you could also try IMS communities if
you're using that product with IMS DB.

One virtue of posting any question on IBM-MAIN is that it may well be seen by a
hard-core MVS person who can pass it to a real DB2 person. We have run CDC here
for many years, currently FMID HCHCA21, IBM InfoSphere Data Replication for DB2
for z/OS, V10.2.1. My DB2 colleague says it's OK to ask some questions.

Hi Cameron,

Mostly hard-core MVS - z/OS folks on this listserv. Suggest trying DB2-L or
IDUG or InfoSphere groups and presentations. Whether your capturing VSAM
changes or DB2 changes, doing some transforms, whatever, these fall into
Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Database admin domains, not so
