In 2002 OS-10.4 Tiger did not yet exist! Probably came with 10.3 Panther on 3 Cds... And/Or Classic OS-9.x.x which also was included n Cd... I had an iMac 15" G4/800 "Lampy" from 2008 to 2012 It ran with 9.2.2 and 10.4 After 9.1 and 10.3.. FLASH support issues killed it for ME!! Your

Thanks for replying. I don't have the original software. I bought system 4.0 from ebay and installed it. In my haste, I installed over what was there. In hindsight, should have re-formated the disk and started from scratch. I did reset the PRAM and had no effect. Tried to start in safe mode
