This might man that the disk is copy-protected. I don't know, I've never had to delve into the mysteries of HandBrake, it just worked for me... Honestly the simplest solution may well just to buy a region-free dvd player. googling region free dvd player brings up a lot of hits in the $35-$45 region (ha hah) -- Bruce Johnson Wherever you go, there you are. Converting PAL to DVD?
Hi there: I picked up a DVD while visiting England last summer, thinking that one of our players was region-free. Well, I was wrong on that...so how can I convert this PAL DVD to an NTSC DVD so we can watch it? I'm seeing lots of options in a quick online search but I know nothing about the reliability, ease of use, etc., of any of them. (FYI we also have a newer iMac than the one listed below, which as I recall is running Yosemite.) As always, my thanks in advance! *** Bill Spencer in Maryland IMac Core 2 Duo 1.83 ghz/2 g RAM/Lion -- -- You received this message because you are a member of the iMac Group, a group for those using Apple iMacs and eMacs.
