Thanks. I found out that my wifi card is Broadcom 4318, for which there is
only a 32-bit driver (via the ndiswrapper). I am not willing to boot into
32-bit, thus, I have to give up the idea of running the built-in wifi card.

Meanwhile, I can't get any code in a VirtualBox VM work that does a switch to

DPMI applications under virtualized DOS. That's a fun one. Hoping the next

At this point a text-based installation is not present. You should try
OpenSolaris RC2a, it allows you to scroll the install window so that it's
possible to go through the installation even with a 640x480 resolution.

Hi
I already tried that. When flar create -n ... option is given, it goes

I very badly needed to create a flar image of my installation. Now, I

Sriram,
You can install the SVR4 pkg that contains flar on Indiana. As for
whether flar will work correctly, I think in principle it would... but
there could be issues with the zfs root boot stuff copying and booting
successfully. Normally we would use a zfs send and receive to send the

Yes, but if I install Linux, Windows, MacOSX, etc.. with the default
installation (the European or US versions), I have no problem whatsover with
using IDEs and with Ctrl-space, with OpenSolaris on the other hand the default
installation already "surprises" you...
