This is neither *Litsea wightiana* Hook , since the similarity can only be
assigned to *Litsea wightiana* Hook var tomentosa. but the nature of the
specimen especially the pubescence clearly indicate this is not *Litsea
wightiana* Hook and there are many other reason refer to

I have been following the Lauraceae members especially Litsea and
Cryptocarya for a long time. It is very difficult to differentiate most of
the times. I have examined this and i feel it is* Litsea floribunda*
Gamble. as suggested by Dr. Garg
