The file has been _P_atched (updated using a diff).

This has been our experience as well.
However, if you *can* get an MKS archive into CVS, do so; CVS is MUCH
better than MKS.

What does the code letter P stand for? I'm getting a lot of those when
I update, but I can't find in any docs what it means. Thanks for any

You are correct. This is described in the Cederqvist manual in the section
titled "Merging from a Branch Several Times". You need to tag the trunk at the
location of each merge, so that on the next merge you can say the equivalent of
"merge in only changes since the last merge". Be sure to do
Hi Jesper,
Well, well, well! Someone else is trying what we tried awhile back! You're
running into the fact that MKS has introduced a little extension to the RCS
file format (if I remember correctly, it came in the form of a new tag
called "ext"). Don't know how standard it is, but if you remo
Greetings,
Sorry I cut-and-pasted the line incorrectly. I do actually have the correct
line in the log file. The only other thing I can think of at this point is
to attach a debugger to the process.

I am trying to get cvswebedit2.0 installed. I get this in my apache error

I have a major change I want to make in my source tree, but I don't
want to interfere with normal system development, so I created a

Now, I want to merge in changes that have occurred on the main

Thank you to Matthias, Rodent, and Eugene for suggesting that I use
Henner Zeller's version of cvsweb. Not only is it functional and
attractive, but the documentation is very clear, and configuration is
easy.

It's strange that www.sourcegear.com mentions mailing lists under

Hi,
Maybe this is a question that betrays ignorance but...
I have imported some files into a CVSROOT directory where some of the
dirs had spaces in the names. I made some module references to them in
the modules file. When i attempt to access those directories with cvs
checkout it truncates at

I'm not sure I understand this.
SCCS (if my memory is correct) did allow checking out multiple files; it did not
allow checking out the same file by multiple people.
What, exactly, are you trying to do? If you want to check out specific
combinations of files, you can use tags per file (including

Hi.
I'm about to move a RCS repository made

Does anybody have experience in doing so ?
I've made a small test based on the information

Hello,
I am having no luck connecting the cvs client to the server. The cvs server

Hi!
All files in my repository are set to have watches "on". The files are watched
by the cvs repository owner and we make users do
cvs edit on all files.
How can i make sure that all new files added using "cvs add" are automatically
watched by the cvs repository owner?
Thanks in advance!
