Xig on I7k

Are there people out there successfully using the commercial Xig Xserver for the Inspiron 7000? Half their web page says its supported, and the other half says it is not.If so, can you provide any details on anything special you had to do to get it working? I will add this info to my I7K

First of all, you need to clarify what kind of machine you have. The Inspiron 3000/3200 is very different than the 7000. Hi there, It 's been a couple of non-stop weeks of trying that I can't get PCMCIA to work - it crashes the machine just before probing these IRQs, just like some others

It's not clear to me whether or not the Rage IILT is the same as the Rage LT Pro in the I7k. Maybe it is just a typo. However, I've been using that ChipId for a day now and it seems to marginally work (I have X working in 1024x768, but I can't switch back to text mode now without rebooting).
