thing I was wondering. As for 1, I'd say that
sounds plausible, but is it feasible? As for 2, in my case I don't
need multiple touch screens, but I suppose that you could somehow
extend the approach from 1, maybe via on/off-line config?

QML/Quick apps than traditional QWidget applications.

I'm not sure about the spec. I've had this happening using Martin
Kaltenbrunner's Java TUIO Simulator, although it doesn't seem to
happen with TUIOPad for iOS. This shouldn't be a problem though, it's
just that I took a day off and now
to my old ways
of libCinder for now.
Any thoughts/suggestions, I'll be happy to hear them.

the latter because it seems I'd have to implement the objects myself,
but on the other hand, I don't know how complete and/or up-to-date is the
former.
Does anybody have hints? Do you know of alternatives? These two popped up
while googling.
