I went back and listened to my tape recording last
night, and just like Willis, WBBM and Cuba were too
strong to pull anything else out. At times, I thought
I heard CW and/or music, but could not clearly
identify either.

153 Russia, 1418 very weak with music.
279 Russia 1448 very weak with music.
594 Japan, JOAK 1423 very weak 1621. 1623 fair with Japanese play.
657 PDR Korea, 1452 weak with woman in Korean.
This morning's conditions weren't all that exciting. I tuned around
1340-1350 1405-1420 and again around 1500, and heard a few TPs, none
particularly well.

Anyway, Coro is a fairly frequent IDer. If you have a clip, I can post

antenna commonly hear either XEMF or Coro thru WBBM from my WI place. In
general the further west one goes from eastern N.Am into central..the easier
XEMF becomes and the harder Coro becomes.
Everyone is reporting XEMF
If 780 is not occupied by WBBM, ZBVI is usually there for me here on the Ga.

I checked the tape once again and ran it through more EQ and I found I
heard morse code again at 0431 EST, not as strong at 0411, but it was
there. Twice I can catch it. Also threshold code at 0413, 0416, 0418,

Walt sent it to me already; and Bruce Portzer. They both heard the same
spurious thing--some type of clicking that definitely wasn't morse code or
related to the real Maine DX Test; at least I didn't get anything resembling
morse code from Walt's or Bruce's. And it was much faster
