Someone is out of whack just below 750 giving KXL a growl. I suspect
KOAL. Nothing so far but unidentifiable talk programming and 888/800
phone #s. Noted 12/15 0015 PST occasionally equal with KXL but with
deep disappearing fades.

The SS broadcast you heard is apparently directional and aimed north to
serve Cuba and the Carribean. The last time I checked their schedule it
said they were non-directional with 100 kw in EE

My guess is that you probably entered a parameter incorrectly. As an example,
if, on Dec 14 at 2200 you wanted to begin recording on Dec 15 at 0355 but
entered Dec 14 at 0355 by mistake, the status of the job would probably be
expired because Dec 14 at 0355 was already in the past.
As expected, no luck here either. Just a very loud WCRN Worcester, MA with
some other talker weakly in the background - maybe old friend WCCO which was
heard nightly here in the 60's and 70's.

on a number of occasions on business trips to Florida. If you hear them
