Wow. When I type FEMA in the subject line, the Send Message box freezes up. I
got a little bit better read on the signal on 1610 and am about 95-percent

last digit of the call. Part of the text of the test
Per the QSL, the station is licensed by the FCC, but I have no clue what
connection the station has with the Army. Being the Armed Forces,
anything is possible.

Once the band is void of broadcast stations, it will make for a most
interesting amateur band.
Or turn it into low powered community broadcasting stations.

A big let down from yesterdays totals. JOUB 774 could
just manage a weak signal.. Was surprised that Radio Rossii
on 153 had such a good signal. Nothing from the other

Loaded the JRC up with tropical band frequency+'s,
will start giving them a listen in the evening
Note: this is not a legal USA callsign, as you might think since it starts with

I listened from 1345-1430 UT and only heard weak carriers on 747 and 828. For
the first time this year I heard no carrier on 774.

Tonight Dan Verbeck will go to bed at 5 p.m. or try to anyway. He will rise

Checked 1290 about 4:52 p.m.PST 2/7 in hopes of landing KOUU-Pocatello's

previous calls have been logged back in antiquity somewhere. Noting the

Hi Patrick. I found the following on the Information Station Specialists

numerous times previously. Note that this information appears to be from

I have no problem with INSP.. or insportational.. just because you don't
like it, doesn't mean it don't deserve a home on the raido.. not every
station can program something you like.

We are halfway down with repairs. We've made it up to 500 Watts. In
repairing stuff today, we found a part in the back of the transmitter had
burn/blownout in a previous incident and we can't go to a full 1000 Watts
with the part like it is.
That being said, we are at 500 Watts and will do a test
