I fell asleep listening to a Southern Gospel Station UNDER WWVA at
0224 EDT..I woke up @ 0342 EDT to the same Station...Only a little
Stronger and got a SLOGAN ID that I need help with.
The Station Gave an ID as FAITH RADIO. The ONLY inference to this
Slogan I can find on the Web
Well, I can almsot certianly tell you that it isn't WKFL, if and when it's
on, WKFL does Sports Radio

The PERSEUS is the tops. I think the future is better PERSEUS type receivers. I
cannot see manufactures, that don't go this way, still been in business in 2
years! The BIG problem with PERSEUS is finding the time to listen hi! I guess

political discussion, mention of Sean Hannity program, local ads for companies
in nearby Christiansburg. Weak signal up against high noise levels, but
generally able to copy. Also, heard some CW music underneath.

More carriers than yesterday all of which were on the bottom part of the band.

At the FCC site, there is an email address for questions. I have found the
agent listed to be responsive. Sometimes the site lags behind licensing. A
few years ago 1100 WCGA was listed as inactive. They were late in paying
their license fee, got reinstated, but the website hadn't been

think? I got them several years ago and they sead that I was the first dxer to
hear them!(got a real nice email from the CE) They were only running 5 kw when
I heard them!(not a bad hop for that low power) Robbie in south

I checked my 1955-56 logs from Iceland. Radio Luxembourg was on 1439
kHz. They boomed into Keflavik. One of the very best signals from
Europe. They also played pop/rock as you noted. Rock music was just
catching on at that time so Radio Lux was very popular.
