Haven't reported the past few days, but then there hasn't been much
to report.
This morning VOA Thailand on 1575 was at a quite good level for
about 20 minutes (1450-1510), but it was the only one with audio.
Decent carriers on 1566, 1593, and 1602 never quite made audio. The

Only four MW stations with audio this morning. JOUB 774 had a signal that
should have produced audio, but no audio heard during the times below.

1503 JAPAN, JOUK 1553-1554 poor signal at times after sunrise.

Thanks, Guy! As I said earlier, the guys who own the FlexRadio units are both
hams first and foremost. Both of theirs are more current units, the Flex-1500
and Flex-5000. Don't know what their situations are with sound cards.

No question: No audio, lots of hets, lots of near
audio.
Under normal conditions, there would be a full dial
of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Russian, Australian and Island
Stations.
Even last night Tahiti was subdued.

Caught a clear ID at 2252 CLT of 1230 The Light amongst what sounds like
contemporary Christian or gospel music. This is NOT WJBB in Alabama, as they
changed their format to news/talk at the beginning of the year. Seems to be
best when looping SE/NW from here. Ideas?

WHKY is being heard here with an unbelieveable signal considering the distance
and alleged power.
Heard on barefoot Sony SRF-T615. It's station #929 (barefoot #917) heard on an
ultralight receiver.

It was better than last night, but this evening was still delivering
just carriers. At around 0540UT, 1215 was on the threshold of
audio, but never quite made it. 837, 963 and 1143 had quite
reasonable carriers at one point or another, otherwise, pretty wispy
on channels such as 675, 756,
