Hi,
I got my 2010 through with no argument. All they did was an extra test to see
if their was any hidden explosives. Might be worth an inquiry to the TSA.

As with any newly built, high powered stations, there are problems..
they've had to reduce power, go off air, etc.

There is nothing in the KGDD null here in N Seattle... I would say KKXA is off
the air.
We've had a bit of snow here (I have 4") and I'm sure there was more at the
KKXA site (they are closer to the Cascades).

KGDD 1520 Portland still has a Tx site (even if a Google map doesn't show it)
as it is good and strong here in Vic BC with there Musica Latina as is evident
by the possible absence of the recently launched KKXA Snohomish- Everett Wa.The
signal is steady and I'm not hearing any Classic Country at

Happy to read that your antennas survived the recent Pacific storm.
The only thing that came down here was the mail box after the county snow
plow drove through plowing at a high speed. We got 20"of snow on the ground
and sagging antenna wires from snow and ice. With rain forecast

power for sometime I read via the PDX Radio site. So that explains why
they are weaker. With property so valuable in commercial zones, the 1520

I fgound the site pretty easy.. its a few hundred feet to the right,
mapwise, of the school. Google Maps is a few hundred feet off usually.. I
found and see the KGDD site pretty easily.
That being said, Google Earth doesnt take pics all that often, so it can be
years between updates and things cha
A friend e mailed me and he could not find the old 1520 transmitter site
on google earth. I could not either, so I tried to call Bustos Media in
Portland to see if they moved the 1520 site. I could not get through.

was not a fluke. I can hear 1050 CHUN "TSN 1050 Toranto" and on 1030
WBZ in Boston. Under 1050 I can hear a faint SS.
When WHO had their IBOC on I could hear nothing on either of these
frequencies but IBOC hiss.
