Yes, it was fairly good here too Dennis, but mostly above 1500 kHz,
with rarely readable audio, though more audio than I've been used to,
and peaking between 1220 and 1235UTC.

KOAC Corvallis, OR. Phased down KOAC with the Quantum Phaser connected to
NW ewe the SW ewe. KARI had a listen live stream which ran about 20
seconds after the radio signal. Religious programming matched up.
I believe this and KVRI-1600 (they share some towers) are still the
northernmost AM radio stations in the continental United States.

And KBRW 680 Barrow, Alaska would be the Northern Most AM in all of the
USA, I think?

Another good DU morning here. A couple tentative receptions from Australia.
SW ewe is out performing the Sky wire loop.
Thank you Kaz for your help, it has really cut down on domestic station
interference. With the live feed delays and weak
DU signals I could not get exact copy of 3LO 4RN.
Good going on KARI. They are highly directional and have little signal
South.

Hi Nick,
1701 maybe two stations at 1226UT, mx and non-EE talk, but no
idea what, because as always, quite weak.

after these 400 watt X-band Aussies, but since the propagation favored

As far as I know, there are three Aussies on 1701. O nly one carries religious
programs - the Vo ice of Ch arity, a Lebanese Ch ristian station in Sydney.
They have a website www.voc.org.au/ A nice catch if that's what yu had.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks very much for your 1701 kHz UnID Aussie analysis.
Immediately after sending the message to Nick I checked the PAL
listings for 1701 kHz (which I should have done right off the bat :-),
and found details on the three flea-powered Aussies, including Voice of

Another possibility is to use one of the SDR's available through the web. There
are normally a couple of Perseus'es online in eastern Australia.

It took years to finally ID KBRW fo me living on the Northern Oregon
Coast. KNBR SF is a powerhouse here running 50 KW ND 24/7. It is easier
to log stations to the East on 680, that North. Plus CHFA is in the way.
I knew I had logged KBRW in the past, but I could never get an ID from
them. The

Thanks very much for the suggestion. Ill certainly give that a try, if
the Ultralight DXers in Australia and NZ can't decipher the 1701 kHz

Dennis,
If I could run a beverage to the NW here, I would get KBRW I am sure as
i would have enough signal at times to over power KNBR, but using a EWE,
I don't have enough signal generally. But KBRW was the last station I
needed from Nome North. I still need Unalakleet 930 though.
