Hello All,
It was a decent morning for the big gun Japanese TP's here but not very
exciting for most of the other Asiatic stations. 594-JOAK and 747-JOIB had the
best overall signals, along with 774-JOUB (which was buried in 770-Seattle
splatter as usual). The Korean and Chinese stations
I listened for Asian radio signals this morning
(9-11-12).
While there were traces of a signal on 594, 693, 828,
972
and 1053 kHz, audio was only heard from one station.
JOIB,
747 kHz, Sapporo J, faded in at 1156 UTC with an OM
talking
in JJ, peaking at a poor level before fading away at
1159.
Hi Walt,
Thanks for the comments. Yes, I definitely plan to make one or more Perseus
WAVs available, as well as some regular audio clips too. I'll post the URLs
when the file(s) are available.
The Perseus WAVs will most likely go in my Mediafire.com archive of WAVs,
where the recordings from my

Not a bad morning, but once again, Asiatic signals seemed generally stronger
around 1230 to 1300UT than 1320UT when I'd been getting enhancements before.
There was a gentle DU enhancement by 1340 or so, though some of the big Asiatic
guns were still showing; these DU signals can be quite clear

sea level, and then drive to the cliff for comparisons. If I do it early
enough--before changing conditions at dawn-- the 10 minutes between
recordings might prove interesting.

Hello To All,
Once again I'm hearing All India Radio with their new transmitter performing
well.
1071 khz - India, All India Radio Rajkot 00:50 UTC Sep 12 with Urdu language,
man with news and eventually station ID . Signal decent on peaks.
I'll try and get the audio/camera video of this one
Can anyone tell me if this station is still on the air? I'm trying to
figure out whether I'm hearing this or CBEF on 540. I think they have
the same programming.
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, the new NRC Log no longer shows it. I think all the Gaspe Peninsula AMs
are history.

Quite similar to yesterday here in southern Alberta, with a bit
more audio, but only from the regulars. Japan was in on 693, 747, 774
(the best), and 828. Also heard the ABC on 891, which seems to quite
often come through on mornings that are otherwise totally TP.

Hello Sylvain,
Thank you very much for your positive comments on Guy's Broadband FSL testing
at Cape Perpetua, and the Oregon cliff DXing this summer. I'm sure that Guy
will have a very interesting TP-DXing report after he goes through his
Perseus-SDR files, and posts links for the WAV
Nope! I'm still hearing both CBGA1 CBEF in synchro and
http://topazdesigns.com/ambc/ still list them both.
