My first day back after being away was not very interesting.
Faint bits of audio from presumed VOA on 1575, and rather uninspiring
carriers elsewhere was about it. Like Colin, I seem to detect a
non-scientific correlation, in my case conditions generally show a
marked improvement when I l
Conditions were down quite a bit compared to good conditions of the past
couple of days. Only a few stations were producing recognizable audio,
and then only briefly.
As as been the case lately, there was a high end enhancement just before
1500 UTC, but today it was brief and sparsely attende

The Band seemed to be best to the SOUTH tonight @ Sunset, and my Lone New
Station logged was also from the South. It is NEW to both the ULR and OVERALL
LOGS!!

audio was pretty hard to come by at sunrise, a touch on 594 1242 and
1593 perhaps. Around 1330UT there was some action from the
Up at 13:10 til 13:15 listening on the Sony 2010 and
the FSL Antenna --
I think there was something on 774khz -
Other channels revealed nothing -
sounds like the excitement of days past
has now receded into the background.

Listened from 1255-1308 utc. Conditions down this morning here in Kalama, WA.
Only one Russian long wave heard. Check stations before leaving home at 1345
and most signals were just weak carriers.
189 RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1255 poor signal with man in Russian.

567-JOIK, barely audible at 1105-1108.
594-JOAK, barely audible at 1257-1258.
