Per Wikipedia, XWA started experimentally on 01 Dec 1919 and began regular programming on 20 May 1920. KDKA may have still been using 8ZZ on 02 Nov 1920 when they broadcast election returns. It was listed as unclear whether their license had been received by that date. KQW was not licensed

Listened off on from 1247-1411 utc. Strange that Radio Rossii had a better signal at 0435 utc than 1248 utc.  153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii  1247 good signal with jazz music. Active whip. 11/15/2013 180    RUSSIA, Yelizovo, Radio Rossii 1248 poor signal with man in Russian.
