Hello All,
1575-VOA was the primary star of the morning here, with the Thailand big gun
having its best signals of the new year (good) just after 1500. There were also
some other fair Asian signals on both the low and high band, although sunrise
enhancement fizzled out early again, with

I'm looking for a new set of headphones to replace older ones that have fallen

noise-cancelling. Not the most comfortable on the ears, but tolerable. Checking
at The Source, Canada's version of Radio Shack, I was I was shocked at

KTOX Needles Ca is dominant in L.A. County right now. Local news noted in Coast
to Coast AM break, as well as ad containing Gilligans Island parody. I first
logged them as KSFE ( Santa Fe railroad town ) years back. May have scribbled
enough down to constitute a report. Other stations starting
Oregon City may have changed their pattern since the 70s. They do not seem to
have the punch they used to all night here. OK City dominates a lot of the time.

Saul, I'm not surprised at the price. The cost of Bose aviation
headphones which I use when flying is around $1100! I bought mine used
for about half that. You really do get what you pay for, but for DX
purposes, I'm not convinced that noise cancelling is the way to go. That

A bitty sort of morning, with a brief upper band lift after 1500UT,
but not high excitement. I did seem to have some stronger signals
than Bruce did, which is odd for Asiatics Oh...and no real sign of HLAZ.
