I have offered to bring the IRCA website into the 21st Century with a stylish
corporate design built on a modern PHP/MySQL Wordpress powered platform - I
hope to have something up and running within 48 to 72 hours - and will be open
to all kinds of observations, suggestions and criticisms.
What are you supposed to see?? Just a few seconds of a picture of a radio
dial tuned to 7.220??

Michael, your receptions are pretty similar to stuff I'm hearing about 300
miles down the coast from you.
Saudi 1521 is a flamethrower up and down the East Coast. Reception two hours

Asian signals seemed somewhat more healthy this morning here than in Colin's
version. A fairly good sunrise enhancement boosted 1566 and 1593 up to
respectable levels around 1505, although 1593-CNR1 didn't quite match its
unusually good level of a week ago.

He certainly mentions al-Arabia as-Saudiya in one of the news items,
Michael. The last time I heard them (in PEI, not here, hi), I think
the country name was part of the ID on the hour, but I'm sure the
east coast DXers are far more up to date on the IDs used now.
Hope you can snag as many
Currently muddy audio on 1593, 1575, on again, off again on 1566, 612 and a

Lackluster would be an overstatement.

I'm glad to see a real web site being developed. It's needed. Something I
