As others have noted, not an overly exciting morning.
Only 3 stations with audio heard this morning, with two of them on the
same frequency.JOUB on 774 was the only Asian, with bits of Japanese

A lackluster collection of Asian big guns managed to show up at peak sunrise

Unfortunately, got to the dials late, but yes, a decent DU morning with 774
much stronger than yesterday. At good level. No sign of Japan here at
13:53. As usual, powerful domestic splatter spoils things. 828 has
someone, but I'm getting too much 820 splatter. 846 is fair in English.

594 has recovered at bit with man in Japanese by 1330UT, 612 doing
well with DU English; 549 struggling, but maybe //612? (550 needs to
be nulled further), but certainly not what we've come to
expect. Maybe more a "down under morning? Or, maybe not, as it
doesn't seem to be developing.
Dull day indeed - 1302 UTC - maybe 7 signals in whisper audio;
594, 702, 792, 828, 1053, 1566...
529 Alaska is huge however.

Hi all - so I have this log on 612 kHz, below. AA mx, fairly strong, from
0258-0303 UTC. There may be an ID but my ears are not yet accustomed to
picking out AA words and phrases and I have a hard time understanding. I
would normally say Morocco, but they aren't supposed to be on until 0400.

No joy on 1548 I'm afraid, Bill, at least not at the top of the hour,
when there were also weaker (quite a bit weaker in some cases)
carriers on 1701, 1116 1098, 1044, 936 and 738. Still hunting for
any audio earlier, but not holding out too much hope.
best wishes,
Nick
