An extraordinary mess of DX, much unidentified, or unidentifiable on multiple channels. I've run out of steam going through the files, so there's likely a lot still to be foundand never will be.A lot of peculiarity to the morning too, many signals with strong carriers and little to no

Just checked my recording, and similar levels on 639 at 1452 and 1456UT, using a Flag antenna mind you with a beefy SDR.But then I tell myself this is a poorer place for Asian reception. I suspect tomorrow may not be quite so good, so enjoy what we recorded. best wishes, Nick At 15:37

Thanks Neil. I have the info re 621 being 24 hours Nacional also, but it's from a 2016 WRTH (long story; it's supposed to be a 2018 one by now, ordered two months ago), so was wondering if something had changed since then, given apparent discrepancy between the webstream that I had, and

I did not check in until 1515 and by that time things were settling down on my N/NE Flag -- which still has some grabbing power for TP's - As illustrated by Nick's guiding fishbarrel radar system, there were nice signals on the likes of 1593, 1575, 1566, `1458, 1323, 1287, 1098, 1053, 972, 891,

Thanks, Nick. After your reception of the new country of 621-Canary Islands last night, I was wondering whether you would take a break this morning and miss out on the fun :-) It was another marathon TP-DXing session here, and the Chinese were already unusually potent as early as 1215 in the

RNE local or regional IDs are scheduled 0625-0630, 0630-0700, 0745-0800, 0805-0810, 0830-0845 and later. Doesn't mean that IDs will actually be given, but those are the best times to look for them. 621 is 100kw from the Canary Islands, the other four parallels in Spain would be 10kw each, so

The low band Chinese stations once again rode sunrise enhancement to end up with powerful signals, only this time a couple of them ended up with their best-ever signals here in Puyallup (over 11 years). 603-China (Hulun Buir?) reached that awesome level (S7) around 1437, almost smothering

You didn't jinx things Gary. How much was identifiable is another question. It was quite a tangle, and for some reason, domestic splash was monstrous this morning, along with a peculiar lack of audio with many of the strong carriers. best wishes, Nick At 13:39 2018-02-15, Gary DeBock

Hi Todd, The Chinese wave did indeed hit the west coast during sunrise enhancement this morning, with exceptional signals from 603-China (Hulun Buir?), 639-CNR1 and others. Here was 639-CNR1 at an S9 level at 1454 UTC this morning https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/dn8h4sbwco01mvyasa1859d0eiv1q8vh
