I agree with Bruce about the quality of the morning listening, especially from about 1300-1325UT. A mixture of Asia and DU, with the former dominating. I'm sure there were lots of things I missed. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

Good story but I wonder how many of those power levels are "ERP (Effective Radiated Power) as opposed to "TPO" (Transmitter Power Output). When you take antenna gain into consideration it may paint a completely different picture! There are 50-kilowatt stations in the U.S. that radiate a lot more

General notes for 1100 UTC on 26-Aug-2018: G3 geomagnetic storm in progress. Also, semi-local t-storms at the time, which pretty much killed the bottom third of the band. Local sunrise was 1104 UTC. So not only did I have auroral conditions, but also sunrise enhancement. Antenna: 140' D-Kaz
