and installed it. So today it really paid off as I got a nice id of 1430
WEEF serving NW Chicago. I thought I heard EF NW Ohio while listening,

I guess the Death of am radio actually means the end of the golden age of

mobile HF rigs. Other than the 703+, the only positive report
that I received was for the yaesu FT-897. I might go to Lentini Comm. in CT

I have noticed in the past couple of days that WCXN is way over WWVA at
sunset and sunrise. I have not logged them previously, but now it is really
easy. At first I thought it was Carribean or South America, but numerous
mentions of businesses in Heekory (sic) and Lincolnton narrowed it down.
