CX did improve a bit later when KSTP reappeared however, not enough to bring in
any distant skip on my frequencies. 1440 had KODL The Dalles OR alone on the
channel. KODL generally is not all that strong, but with little skip they were

I heard the old WXTC 1390 back in 1997 from here. It was mixing with the ME
test. I had not heard DX like that on a regional for years. So we still have
that happen rarely. The DXer has to be there at that time though.

tonight are very Southerly. It looks like KAZA-1290-Gilroy CA may be on high
power as they are QRMing Chico. Prosser WA 1310 is running high power most

It is the Logitech UE Smart Radio. They use Tune In and other apps, not
receiva. You can do a google search to see what the specs are. The foreign
stuff is hit and miss, especially some Asians, but it does receive a lot of

sometimes more fun that the program. Every once in a while I will catch as old

Now I found the WATH stream, I cannot hear the UNID on 970. It looks like it

I have the old KYET 1180 QSL'd from the 90s, but on 1170 will be tough in the
NW with KPUG and KLOK there. Add to that, Tulsa at night.

More sweep tones at 0044. I am going to play back the test and see it I got
anything else. But the staircase tones and sweep tones have been common.

WEGP was strong as well as Bubba FM (WXTC) at the time with CW. Nice vl from
bother stations. The WSPO test is not nearly as strong and there are a lot of
stations on the freq too. I wish I could ID that UC Gospel.

KHTS has become a pest up here in Oregon at night. I wonder if they have a
pattern change or are operating with day power at night. KTHS used to be rare.

friends for 43 years. I was 21 and he was 36. His wife, Christina was also a
very close friend. She passed away 2 1/2 years ago.

KHIL was a regular in the afternoons into Rancho Mirage CA when I was there in
2000. KHIL even QSL'd my report with a nice verie letter. I am surprised they
went with an Oldies/AC type format. I would have thought in rural AZ, CW would
be a good format to run.
