This has been a very rotten DX season. Poor conditions most of the time.
I believe these conditions are caused by the following three things.
1. Global warming.
2. Second hand cigarette smoke.
3. McDonald's fries.
1. Global warming - This can not be a reason, as there is

Well folks, I feel real sorry for you'all up there in the north country.
Here in southeastern Tennessee it was around 75 degrees and muggy. The grass
is way ahead of me cutting it, about a foot tall and it will be raining all
weekend long. In fact, it is POURING, as I write. But, We have had 3

I was just thinking back to my misspent DX youth. I QSLed 4

Heard very weak CW at 0031 with lots of QRM from WFLI in Chattanooga, TN and
ESPN radio in Indianapolis. This is definitely heard CW, and a weak sweep
tone following. Nothing heard since.

was heard. QRM from a Spanish station, XEOI???. No ESPN on WMVP out of

I heard some country music on 1120 last night (shortly after turning off

It is now a great time of the year to listening to the radio. It is baseball
season and the program material has just risen to it's highest level

WFAN for me is often not very listenable. Now WLW is.
I wish WLAC had the Braves...
Now that would be great! I second the montion! I would be happy if
WSB-750 would get the braves back. But, I do have two good stations for the
Braves. WYYU-FM in Dalton, GA and WCLE-FM in Cleveland,

I am sure you QSLed the 1310 WRR, right. The only thing left of WRR is the
FM and think they are no longer owned by the city of Dallas.
It is a far cry from the days of Jim Lowe and Big Tex.
