There seems to be an issue with the Arris modems for RF noise. I checked online and found a few complaints. There is little shielding in the plastic boxes and since the only compatible dual modems for cable seems to be Arris ones, it looks like my only choice is to just switch it off when

Why don't you complain to the FTC that it is not shielded according to part 15 inteference levels or something like that? We should band together and find the proper government bureau to complain to, although we all know complaining to the do nothing FCC won't do any good. Bob Young

Have you tried those ferrite doughnuts you clamp around any cables coming into or out of the interference generating device? I think they call them RF chokes. I ordered a small bag of them from one of the online electronics dealers, put them on every device I could think of in my house,
