Thanks to Steve for his report from Arizona (and coincidentally, I made a
recording of the same song from 1566-HLAZ as Steve mentioned in his report at
1326). Asian signals were dramatically improved this morning, with the Japanese

Thanks for the ear
Thanks for the early report, Gary. Inspired by Colin's new Flag setup, I
set the alarm for 5:30 AM local/12:30 UTC. Things were quite moribund at
that time, but right around 13:00 became quite alive with exclusively DU,

Hello All,
Asians signals took a nosedive this morning as September's first clunker
session was delivered in full force. Two ghostly Asians and 738-Tahiti did

Hello All,
The rare DU propagation of the past two days (which brought good audio from
738-Tahiti, and weak audio from a few mystery stations) was long gone here this
morning, as the Asiatic TP's started to come back. Only a few "big gun" TP's
managed decent audio, however, indicating that
Hello All,
It was another interesting morning, with positive signs of a transition to
better TP propagation. Like Dennis, I found it one of the best mornings of
the new season.
738-BEL2 in Taiwan was back again with fair Chinese audio, and at 1309 was
even mixing with a weak HLKG (for th
