good signals (e.g., Algeria on 531/549, UK on 693/882/909/1089/1215, France
on 603/864/711/1377, Holland on 675/747, Spain 684/774, etc.), but also some
less common stuff. Just noted some audio from Benin-1566, and
Just Absolute on 1215 here, Barry, and not very strong at that, but
reasonably consistent; guess you must be grabbing all the good stuff
before it gets here, hi.

I also managed to bag the Navtex transmission from Greenland at 0340. I
almost overlooked it because it uses the letter W as its identifier,
which also happens to be the letter used by the USCG Navtex in Astoria,
OR. But the content of the message made it abundantly clear it was from
774-Spain coming in pretty well at 0415 UTC. Man and woman in SS.
819 carrier is there, also 801, music on 765, woman talking on 693. This is
one of the better TA evenings here in CO.
Other notable signals/carriers: 531, 585, 612, 639, 855 (man talking but too
much local KOA-850 IBOC), 909, 927
Turned on the radio to check for a repeat of last night, and it doesn't look
like that's going to happen. Notice the rise in A/K indices (4/1 the last I
checked). Weak audio on 1377 and 1215, and not much else yetWalt

Thanks for your detailed TA reports last night, keeping us fully alerted as
to the European signal strengths.
I was able to catch the tail end of the action, making a strong MP3 of
1134-Croatia at 0353 on the new PL-310 ultralight (assisted by a 6' PVC box

Started listening at 2245 UTC, by which time 1575 was already a strong
carrier (actually, it faded gradually after 2300). Noted about 25

other TAs noted at the moment.

(at 03:30), I have a 4 to 5 carrier on 1494, 1422 at a 5, 1377, 1341, 1269,
1251,
1224, 1215, 1179,1152, 1134 (fair audio), 1107, 1098, 1089, 1053,1044, 1017,
999, 927, 918, 882, 873 (5 level), 864, 855 (5 level),
My carrier list for the evening looks like this:
693, 828, 855, 954, 1017, 1035, 1089, 1107, 1134, 1152, 1206, 1215,
1269, 1278, 1296, 1341, 1377, 1422, 1458, 1494, 1503, 1512, 1521, 1539, 1575
Not all in at once, for example 1575 (presumably Farda) was one of the

Well, lots of carriers, some on unusual frequencies.
Only reasonable audio has been 1215, seeing I missed the best of Farda-1575.
Other audios have been 1134, 1269, both weak and fleeting, as well
as 954 and 1017, but not strong enough to give any real clues as to
