Where would the DXer be without Tahiti? (or, apparently, without a calendar; these loggings, such as they were, occurred on 25 June; apologies) Mostly carriers from New Zealand (perhaps) otherwise. not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood

Tonight is our last night in Kona -- I may make one more attempt to punch through the radio fog here - We have had lots of Vog and 1/2 of most days have been gray. One wonders if this has any effect on reception -- Previous reports from Walter when he was visiting the South seas is that places

The ionospheric fog lifted a bit this morning, with a good sunrise enhancement from Tahiti-738, and some readable audio on 1116 for a short while just pre-sunrise. In addition, possibly a hint of Japanese audio on 747, and a carrier on 1287 at the right time for Japan, just before 1130UT.
