WGBW-1590 DX test noted over usual pest WAKR with tone at 0104 EDT, voice ID
mentioning testing during the experimental period with 1 watts, code
ID into oldies (e.g. Beach Boys). More code ID and sweep tone at 0117.
Not needed, QSLed on similar test in 2011, but nice to have a logging
At 00 04 CDT WGBW noted with tone, code and
EBS alert noise.

WGBW 1590 huge with all sorts of weird music including accordion. No tones
noted in the few minutes I made my recording. Solid IDs. WWKB 1520 NY Buffalo
seems entirely off, huge K-Love Rossford OH plus sprts station - and country
107 ID - the same unID I see George Santulli in VA reporting.

I heard quite a bit of Morse code during the hour. The tones, I am not
sure of what those were. There are a lot of Network cue tones, so it is
hard to tell who that was.

really only 1 time I caught Morse code at 0005. The other times I
thought there was some was either flute music or just tones of different

of noise. Only IDs I heard at the time were for KBND and KFLE. So I quit
listening live as I knew, sooner or later, people would report hearing IDs and

Without the beverage, I am sure I would not be hearing them. Even their
peaks are far from strong. The only things that is coming in is Morse
code and tones. I have not heard anything else I can ID. But there was
some loud music around 12:15-12:20 CDT, or thereabouts. I am recording

last Satudray. This is a short turn around time, mailed
my report with CD on Tuesday, reply back on Saturday!

my reception report I mentioned hearing a dog barking
type sound, perhaps a Disney song or some type of sound
WGBW 1590 DX test heard with bugle calls noted several times, at
00:10, 00:33 and 00:50 and brief 10 second or so steady tone
repeated several times. Will have to dig through recording to
identify music and possible ID's.

Just a mile or two from WASB's transmitter means no love from WGBW tonight.
Didn't help that WASB is on 1589.92. I'm not complaining about one
transmitter - I used to live at the bottom of Pinnacle Hill in Rochester.
