I would be grateful for any test Dale and WHBC decides to do. Much
appreciated no matter what.
I'm in Surprise, AZ visiting family and brought my SRF-59; I hope to do some
DXing with it and will report back.

Date: Saturday morning (late Friday night), March 29, 2008. Time: 3 - 4 a.m.
Eastern Time, 0700 - 0800 UTC. The station will test with daytime power and
pattern, carrying their regular Fox Sports Radio talk programming and
interspersing Morse code and sweep tones.
Thanks Jim. Great. I will give this one a try. I QSL'd them back in the
80s. It will be interesting if I can still log them.

My chances of hearing this aren't good, but I'll be
giving it a major try. I have a real QSL card from
them for a report in 9/62. Any OT's recall if that was
a test also?

I doubt if it was a test. I recall hearing WHBC regularly on Monday Mornings
around 3 a.m. PST (during the winter). In the good ole days when the frequency
wasn't clogged WHBC roared in on
regular schedule. This was 1965-1969 era.
