1206 is often the 2nd best TA here in IL, sounding armchair at times. 1134
is stronger still, in general, but you in MN are blasted by a local, and the
some of guys in the Pac NW have Vancouver to hammer 1130, 1206 in general is
better than anything I can get on 1215 (usually UK/Spain mix).
John and all;
I had asked this question on dxer.ca ULR forum but no replies, save for
Colin's.
I *thought* that I understood the Fall Follies contest but something
that I read the other day has clouded my vision of it.

Dave,
My guess is that you are not a member of the ultralightdx group and,
possibly that you did not reread the Official Rules for the Fall
Follies. The Rules on time are very clear. I try to copy the irca

If it were still Ramadan, it could be CJRN Niagara Falls, ON, replacing
their usual glorified TIS with Allah Hu Akbar every day at local sunset.
But Ramadan ended last month.

Thanks for Colin Newell for giving me the heads up on TA hets. Sure enough,
there are plenty out there. Strongest so far (level 5 to maybe weak 6): 819,

Using a 290 ft BOG ained at 355 deg I tried from about 1130 to 1150. Most
notable was a reasonable carrier on 972, but well below audio level.
Also noted were weak carriers on 1206 and 1017. 747 had just a very faint
het at 1148. I checked up and down the dial twice and spent some time on 972
